Fitness Bricks co-owners Allan Ellis and Josh Bicknell have built their reputation through their connections and extensive experience within a variety of roles across the fitness industry.
The aim of Fitness Bricks has always been to source niche and popular fitness products for resale into the market as an affordable, accessible and efficient solution for customers, regardless of their size and budget.
Right from the start, Fitness Bricks has focussed on Key Account Management to maintain and develop relationships with their client base and network. This approach resulted in a number of early customer partnerships including OneGym, UFC, Grenade, énergie Fitness and strong relationships with key supplier groups across the industry.
Sister company Wayfarer Fitness has supported the business for a number of years on the procurement of flooring materials, and this approach prompted Fitness Bricks to ensure that preferred partnerships are developed in other areas in order to streamline installation, service and maintenance to a high standard.
Into its second year, Fitness Bricks secured an exclusivity agreement on the resale of Cybex products. This meant a greater presence in the marketplace and better price control for customers, alongside the many other benefits that come from partnering with a well-established and reputable brand.
More recently, Fitness Bricks has introduced an in-house service offering 3D layouts – helping customers to visualise their dream gym and provide them with reassurance before making a commitment.
Based in the North, Midlands and South of England, the Fitness Bricks team has doubled in the last two years, and with Matthew Leadbitter joining to head up sales in 2019, the business is now actively working in other sectors such as Schools, Universities, Corporate and Residential fitness facilities.
Looking to the future, Fitness Bricks has already secured warehousing facilities in Scotland, which will hold the most popular stock items including a wide range of flooring options from rubber tiles and rolls to astro turf.
Celebrating its 5th anniversary next year, Fitness Bricks’ plans to streamline services further still by expanding the team and improving product availability via an online store – which is on track to be live in just a few months.
